 La Brava Artistry's Return & Refund Policy

La Brava Artistry is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, for damage incurred to items after product arrives from shipping carrier, nor are we responsible for replacing items due to damage occurring over time. Please carefully review all product descriptions and refund/legal policies before finalizing your purchase.

Return/Refund/Cancellation Policy & Process:  If for any reason a customer is unhappy with their purchase, they have 30 days (from the day USPS declares the order successfully delivered) to initiate their refund and ship their purchase back to La Brava Artistry for a partial refund. If 30 days have passed since USPS’ delivery date, we cannot offer you a refund.

Customers can cancel their order after purchase for a partial refund; however, cancellations are only permissible prior to the shipment of the order. Once an order has been shipped, customers must go through the formal return/refund process (outlined below). La Brava Artistry’s shop currently uses Stripe to process debit/credit card transactions, and, unfortunately, Stripe does not return fees on original payments, even in cases of a refund. Stripe’s processing fee as of 08/23/2021 is 2.9% + $0.30 for every transaction. This price will be deducted from the customer’s total refund in order to pay for the transaction fees incurred. Due to unavoidable processing times with banks and Stripe, partial refunds will take time to formally post in your account; please allow 1-2 weeks for your partial refund to appear in your account. Due to processing, shipping, and handling fees, only a partial refund can be given back to the customer once an order has been shipped; the cost of these fees and shipping materials will be transparently deducted from the customer’s refund in order to compensate the company for their time and supplies. Returned items must be in the original condition and packaging and must contain all inserts sent in original purchase, otherwise refund cannot be granted to the customer. Exclusions apply*.

To begin a return, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Please email us that you would like to start a return as soon as possible so we can keep an eye out for your return’s arrival and prepare for the return. (Email labravaartistry@gmail.com, Subject line: Refund / Order #)

  2. The customer is responsible for shipping product(s) back in original condition and is responsible for the cost of shipping the product(s) back to La Brava Artistry. All returned items are thoroughly inspected. The returned product(s) must be in new/unused condition, with all original product inserts and accessories from original shipment. Any returned item that is not in its original condition/packaging, is damaged, or is missing inserts/parts from the original shipment is not eligible for a refund. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery date is also not eligible for a refund. Please ship the product(s) back as soon as possible so it arrives at our facility in time. Refer to the bottom of this page for the company’s return address. Please consider adding our email (labravaartistry@gmail.com) to the shipping’s tracking, if applicable, to assist us with the return process.

  3. Once your return has arrived at our facility and passed all of our inspections, your partial refund payment will be initiated. Once this is completed, the customer will receive an email showing that the refund has been processed on our end. Please expect the funds to transfer back to you in a few business days. (If your partial refund is not received within this timeline, check with your bank and/or credit card company, as it may take a few extra days for some institutions to post the refund in their system. Commissions:  Clients have 30 days from the time of purchase to cancel their custom commission via email for a partial refund. If for any reason the client should no longer desire to work with La Brava Artistry prior to the start of the client's requested commission (startpoint determined by artist), the customer’s down payment can be partially refunded. La Brava Artistry’s shop currently uses Stripe to process debit/credit card transactions, and, unfortunately, Stripe does not return fees on the original payment, even in cases of a refund. Stripe’s processing fee as of 08/23/2021 is 2.9% + $0.30 for every transaction; therefore, this price will be deducted from your refund to pay for the transaction fees incurred. If the client decides to cancel the commission after the project has been started (project start-date determined by artist), then the customer’s down payment cannot be refunded in order to compensate the artist for their time and supplies. *Completed custom works and commissions are not refundable, returnable, or exchangeable.

Exchanges (if applicable): La Brava Artistry will only replace items if they are defective or damaged prior to final delivery.
